Cider Barn Tree Farm is a Christmas Tree Farm owned by the Brokaw Family, Dustin, Mindy, Wren, and Crew.

We grow several varieties of Christmas Trees including Concolor Fir, Douglas Fir, Frazier Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce. Norway Spruce, and White Pine.

We will be offering Choose and Cut, Pre-Cut or Live Potted Trees when our trees reach maturity. For the next several seasons we will offer a variety of precut Christmas trees grown locally for you to choose from. Custom flocking can be added to any tree you choose for a minimal additional charge. In addition to Christmas trees, we sell custom handmade fresh evergreen grave blankets, center pieces, and cemetery saddles. Pre-ordering recommended.

Ice Skating

Cider Barn Ice Rink is scheduled to open Thanksgiving Day 2023 weather permitting. Ice Skate on our Outdoor Refrigerated Real Ice-Skating Rink made possible through the use of ecofriendly glycol chillers. Skate in weather up to 50 degrees and for those colder days and nights you can warm up by the outdoor fireplace found on Cider Barns Front Porch. Ice skates in all sizes available to rent along with our Dasher the Dolphin skate training aids. Schools, clubs and large groups welcome with advance reservations. Private parties, field trips, and Ice-Skating lessons will be available. Liability waivers must be completed online for every participant prior to entering the ice. Reservations and tickets can be purchased online through our website.

Specialty food trucks are invited to site most weekends during the holiday season and for special events. Interested vendors can fill out one of our vendor request forms.

Cider Barn hopes to offer something for everyone during the holiday season. If you already have your tree up and don’t think you want to go ice skating , still come and see us, soak up some of the holiday spirit, do some shopping in the Cider Barn General Store, pass some time playing cards, dominoes, and various board games always available. Card clubs welcome on Tuesday's afternoons and Friday nights.

Springtime Flower Sales

Flowers, bedding plants , and beautiful hanging baskets arrive the 1st week of May and continue until the last week of June or until we are sold out.

Summer Berry Sales

From mid-June through the end of summer Cider Barn will be open for pick your own berries or prepicked blackberries and raspberries sold by the quart and gallon. With help from the local extension office, we hope to offer some workshops this summer on topics such as becoming more self -sufficient and getting back to our roots with canning and preserving. Watch our calendar for various events through the summer months.

Cider Barn Stable

Cider Barn is also home to some of Santas very special friends like our little fallow Noelle and Noble. You may also see Spruce the Goose gliding across the pond with some of his fellow webbed feet friends. Olive our not so little piggy loves to come to Cider Barn to visit, even Santa comes and visits from time to time.

Skating sessions last 2 hours with a half hour between sessions for ice rink maintenance and rental returns. We ask that you exit the ice promptly when your session has ended and return your skates and Dasher the Dolphin trainers so we have enough skate/sizes to accommodate the next group of skaters and allow them access to the ice at their designated start time. Please keep in mind that this is our first year and we have a limited number of skates. We purchased as many skates in as many sizes and styles as our budget allowed and we will continue to add inventory as we are able. Please place laces inside skates and return them to the skate counter. We will do our best to ensure we have the size you requested when making your reservation, but there is a chance we may have to offer you an alternate size or style. We do have some adjustable skates which is a good option if your unsure of the size you need. After careful consideration we have decided to set a maximum capacity of fifty skaters per session. Our rink is 30 x 50 and we believe less crowding will offer a more enjoyable and safer skating experience. There are no physical limitations on the rink itself so the maximum capacity limits apply to public sessions only , private parties and rentals for 50 guests or more are available. We have hopes of expanding the rink in the future.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS Participant and/or Participant's parent(s) or guardian acknowledge that ice skating is an inherently dangerous activity that involve risk of accident, property damage, serious bodily injury, and death. By signing this Release, Participant, and/or Participant's parents(s) or guardian, assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, property damage, or death arising out of Participant's use of Cider Barn Ice Skating Rink located within Cider Barn Tree Farm, LLC (hereafter referred to as the "Rink"). Participant agrees that Cider Barn Tree Farm, LLC including without limitation, all affiliates, divisions, officers, attorneys, employees, agents, assigns, representatives, or successors, are not responsible for any injury or damages of Participant arising out of, or related to, Participant's use of the Rink. Participant and/or Participant's parent(s) or guardian (collectively "Releasing Parties") hereby waive, release, and forever discharge any and all claims for damages, loss, personal injury, or death that Releasing Parties may encounter related to or arising out of Releasing Parties' activities at the Rink. This Release is intended to fully and completely discharge Cider Barn Tree Farm, LLC and all sponsors of the Cider Barn Tree Farm, LLC and their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability for any loss, damage, or expense that Releasing Parties or Releasing Parties' respective heirs, assigns and legal representatives may suffer as a result of Releasing Parties' use of the Rink and surrounding areas, from any cause whatsoever, including without limitation, any act, omission, error, negligence or breach of contract on the part of Cider Barn Tree Farm or any sponsors of the Rink, in the operation, supervision, design, maintenance, or condition of the Rink and all surrounding areas. This release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law and is intended to be effective and binding upon Releasing Parties' heirs, next of kin, families, relatives, guardians, conservators, executors, administrators, trustees, and assigns. Participant certifies that: (a) Participant has been advised to consult a physician before using the Rink; (b) Participant is in good physical health sufficient to use the Rink; (c) Participant is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs; and (d) Participant is not taking any medication that would prevent Participant from safely using the Rink. Participant and/or Participant's parent(s) or guardian(s) agree to follow all rules posted at the Rink and surrounding areas, and instructions from the operating staff of the Rink. Participant further agrees to abide by the "Code of Skater Conduct included with Cider Barns own” Cider Barn Ice Rink Rules" as posted within the Rink area. Failure to follow the "Code of Skater Conduct" rules and/or “Cider Barn Ice Rink Rules posted at the Rink and surrounding areas, or instructions from the operating staff of the Rink may result in the termination of Participant's use of the Rink, surrounding areas, and rental skates without refund. Releasing Parties agree to, at Releasing Parties' sole expense, and with legal counsel reasonably acceptable to Cider Barn defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cider Barn from and against any and all accidents, injuries, liability, claims, costs or expenses related to any act, error, omission, or negligence of Releasing Parities, arising out of, or related to, Releasing Parties' use of the Rink and surrounding areas. Releasing Parties hereby authorize Cider Barn to use any photographs, videotapes, recordings, or any other records taken of Releasing Parties while at the Rink and surrounding areas for publicity, advertising, or any other legitimate purpose. BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE, I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM RELEASING CIDER BARN TREE FARM, LLC AND ALL SPONSORS OF THE RINK FROM ANY POTENTIAL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY ANY ACT, ERROR, OMISSION OR NEGLIGENCE OF CIDER BARN TREE FARM, LLC OR OTHER SPONSORS.
